This double-sided abalone cuff is the first of its kind and the only that I have made so far. I held onto this piece of abalone for months, knowing it had to become something extraordinary. Month later, I sketched a plan on how I would make it double-sided and this is the final result.
This cuff is handmade using 999 fine silver and 925 sterling silver meaning it is non-tarnish. The abalone is from Northern California.
How it works: Squeeze both ends towards each other to create slack and lift one side of the abalone piece to release it from the hook. Flip it around and allow the tension of each end to hold the piece together. P.S. hook the onto the larger curled side first.
To keep tight, slightly pull each end away from each other while the abalone piece is detached so that when you attach the piece of abalone onto each hook, it has tension.

I advise you to not wear this cuff during activities where the tension could accidentally be loosened such as surfing, swimming in waves, etc. I want you to have this piece forever!
