The story
Growing up in Southern California, my family often escaped to the tranquil, secluded beaches of Baja. Little did I know that my routine of waking up early each morning to go shelling would lead me to where I am today. There is something incredibly serene about discovering the imperfect beauty of shells washed ashore.
In 2018, I began experimenting with turning these finds into jewelry. What started as a favorite hobby has evolved into my passion. With a new website and fresh collections on the horizon, I am excited to embark on this journey with you!
The Creator
Hi friends! My name is Anna Fodor, and I am the designer and creator at Intertidal Jewelry. Each piece is handmade by me, using shells carefully collected from the intertidal zones along the beaches of Baja California Sur. I believe that some of life’s most blissful moments are spent in nature, so crafting jewelry from the ocean’s gifts felt like a natural extension of that experience. My intention is to help you feel connected to your own happy place.
