The story

Growing up in Southern California, my family often escaped to the tranquil, secluded beaches of Baja. Little did I know that my routine of waking up early each morning to go shelling would lead me to where I am today. There is something incredibly serene about discovering the imperfect beauty of shells washed ashore.

In 2018, I began experimenting with turning these finds into jewelry. What started as a favorite hobby has evolved into my passion. I specialize in abalone but bring in other pieces from the sea here and there.

My purpose is making the perfect jewelry for the beach girls and ocean lovers.

The Creator

Hi friends! My name is Anna Fodor, and I am the designer and creator at Intertidal Jewelry. Each piece is handmade by me, using shells carefully collected from the intertidal zones along the beaches of Baja California Sur or Northern California. I believe that some of life’s most blissful moments are spent in nature, so crafting jewelry from the ocean’s gifts felt like a natural extension of that experience. My intention is to help you feel connected to your own happy place.
