The pendant is made with 999 fine silver and 925 sterling silver, and is strung on a hand-formed choker chain that is 925 sterling silver.
This statement abalone piece features two parts of an abalone shell. The lower half showcases the textured area where the meat originally gripped while living, with beautiful blue and green tones throughout. The top half features the surrounding shell in a rich purple color with unique patterns of its own as well.
In the last two photos, you can see a small imperfection in the bezel wire. While it is hardly noticeable (and difficult to see even in the photos), there is a deeper scratch that was not intentionally part of the design. Aside from this minor flaw, the piece is in excellent condition. Because of the imperfection, I have slightly discounted the price.
